Research Interests

Sonia Morcillo is the Hispanic Specialist at Cambridge University Library. She is responsible for the ongoing development, management and promotion of the Library’s Latin American, Spanish and Portuguese collections. Her duties include the selection, acquisition and cataloguing of post-1850 material in Spanish and Portuguese, establishing collection priorities in support of the University’s teaching and research programs.

In addition to her current duties, Sonia Morcillo will be cataloguing some 4,470 pliegos sueltos held in the University Library and the British Library as part of Prof. Alison Sinclair’s wrondoing project.
