The workshop will be delivered by Sebastian Colutto (University of Innsbruck) and Louise Seaward (University College London).  It will start with a presentation explaining the functionalities of Transkribus and the technology behind it.  The workshop leaders will then demonstrate how Transkribus can be used for Handwritten Text Recognition (HTR) for handwritten documents and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for printed texts.  Workshop participants will use their own laptops to experiment with Transkribus during the session.
