Social media and livestreaming platforms are making it easier than ever to give online audiences a window into your live event, whether through live broadcast of video or via a live commentary on Twitter. This practical event will bring together academics and communications professionals from a range of background to share their experiences of how to go live, and discuss some of the challenges in managing interactions with audiences both inside and outside the room, including situations when you may want not to share interactions between audiences and performers in real-time.

Topics we will cover include:

  • Livestreamed video
  • Live Twitter commentary from conferences
  • Documenting performances with social media
