Darwin Correspondence

The Darwin Correspondence Project contains basic descriptions of more than 15,000 letters known to have been written by or to Charles Darwin, and the complete texts of around half of those. Most of the letter texts have been taken from the print edition of The Correspondence of Charles Darwin and appear, four years after publication by CUP, complete with editorial notes.

A number of transcriptions are also being added ahead of print publication, such as letters that are particularly interesting or important, or relevant to the various themes and educational resources of the project.
